Luggage from other companies face a lot of mark-ups. The brand who makes it, the retailer who sells it, and in some cases a licensing company who gets it there, all take their cuts before a bag even gets to market. The end result: overpriced (and not-that-great) luggage. Since ROMEING only sells directly to our customers, our luggage doesn’t have all of those mark-ups driving up the price, so we can bring you higher quality at lower prices.

ROMEING luggage is water resistant not water proof. The soft and hard luggage uses materials that provide quite a high degree of water resistance. The difference between water resistance and water proof is that you don’t have to worry about your luggage getting ruined in a sudden rain shower or crossing through a puddled street but you can’t dunk your luggage into the pool and expect it go unscathed.
Hard side luggage is water resistant. While the hard side luggage shell/body Is waterproof, but the zippers are not waterproof.
The soft luggage is treated to be water resistant. One needs to be careful while handling water near soft luggage.

- Cabin luggage (20“) can hold weight from 7-10 kgs
- Medium size luggage (24“) can hold weight from 15-20 kgs
- Large size luggage (28”) can hold weight from 25-30 kgs
The standard dimensions for bags are
- Small (20 inch)
- Medium (24 inch)
- and Large (28 inch)
We designed our luggage so that any of our Carry-Ons can fit neatly inside of The Medium or The Large for easy storage. The Medium also nests inside of The Large, so you can easily stow upto three suitcases when you’re not on the road. The Carry-Ons can not nest within one another.
Hard side Luggage: To clean hard side luggage, we recommend using a gentle soap and warm water, rinsing well. If you would like to wax the case after cleaning, any good silicone-base automobile or furniture polish will preserve the lustre and add resistance to the covering.
Softside Luggage: To clean soft side luggage, we recommend spot cleaning with amild soap (i.e. dish soap) and water. If this is not successful, try a product used for spot removal on clothing such as Vanish, or using a foam type clean erused to clean car mats or automobile carpets (sold at car parts stores). If the luggage has an offensive odour, use a vinegar (1 part) and water (5 parts)mixture. This may take the odour out but it will then need to be aired out for a few days.

Extremes of temperature, as well as the extremes of humidity will tend to age luggage. Any luggage which is being stored in an attic or basement should be taken out of storage, opened, and permitted to air regularly. This will help to prevent mildew from forming as a result of humidity. It also assists in maintaining the normal resiliency of the case itself. Followings storage where extreme temperatures prevail, we recommend cleaning the luggage (see cleaning instructions above).
In the United States, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires access to luggage without the passenger being present. To allow travellers to lock their luggage they have accepted certain locks which they can open and relock. The TSA recommend that TSA accepted locks be used, as luggage locked using other methods must be opened by force in order to be inspected.
Here’s how to set the combination lock for any ROMEING suitcase:
Here’s how to set the combination lock for any ROMEING suitcase:
- Start with the lock open and the zipper pulls released, and make sure the dials are set to 0-0-0.
- Push the reset button down with a pen or pointed object until it clicks— you may need to keep holding it down after that; if it does not automatically stay down. (The reset button is the small square button right next to the number dials.)
- Roll the digits on the dials to the combination of your choice.
- Slide the latch towards the dials. The reset button will pop back up and your combination will be set.
We are very sorry – for security reasons the TSA lock passcode needs to be remembered. For this reason, our warranty does not cover the wrong setting of combination locks. You would need to contact a local locksmith who can assist you to open the bag. However, in some bags we are able to provide a hack on how to open the lock but for that you would need to write an email to support@romeing.in for further assistance.

The term hand luggage or cabin baggage (also commonly referred to as carry-on in North America) refers to the type of luggage that passengers are allowed to carry along in the passenger compartment of an aeroplane instead of moving to the cargo compartment or in other words, checking it in.
Check-in luggage are larger pieces of luggage which are not permitted to be carried in the cabin of an aeroplane and have to be delivered to an airline for transportation in the hold of an aircraft, which means it is inaccessible to the passenger during the flight or ride. The dimensions and weight specifications for check-in luggage differ from airline to airline.

The baggage policy for each airline varies. It depends on the airlines policies, your ticket type, destination etc. We request you to check with the airline for details before planning on the size and weight of your luggage.
Multiply height x width x length of a bag in cm and divide it by 1000 to get the volume in Liters. This capacity is usually expressed in litres.
