ROMEING 2-Year Limited Warranty for Luggage

This covers any defect on wheels, zips, handles, locks & workmanship.
Here’s a quick breakdown to show you what this *exactly* means for you.

Shell / Body :

What we cover

  1. Manufacturing defects such as shell cracks and discolouration at the time of arrival.

What we don’t cover

  1. Damages caused due to airline/carrier mishandling or severe accidents.
  2. Damages caused due to treatment of unspecified chemicals/cleaning agents. Learn more here.
  3. General wear and tear caused due to prolonged/improper use of the luggage.

Trolley:

What we cover

  1. Functional damages such as pull handle and push button malfunction.

Wheel:

What we cover

  1. Functional damages like wheel malfunction and cracks.

Lock:

What we cover

  1. Lock malfunction

What we don’t cover

  1. Damage caused to the lock due to a forgotten password. We strongly recommend that you make a note of your lock code once you set it.

Carry Handle:

  2. Having to struggle while zipping your luggage due to protruding items placed inside, is generally a good indicator of over packed luggage.
  3. Physical damage to zipper due to mishandling, or wear & tear.

 

Tips from our team

  • It's always recommended to take a picture of the luggage before check in to claim any damages with your respective airline.
  • The locks on our products are designed to prevent accidental openings and may not guarantee protection against theft, breakage, or unauthorized access by airline or airport personnel, or governmental authorities.
  • We recommend inspecting your product immediately after it has been handled by someone other than yourself. If any damage occurs during transit, please file a claim with the airline authority before clearing customs or leaving the airport.

  • In the situation of a spare-part replacement, we’ve worked on a quick and seamless process to help you get your luggage fixed, without having to physically travel to our service center.
  • We’ll send you the spare part, along with a step-by-step guide to help you fix-up your luggage. All you’ll need is 10 minutes and a simple screwdriver. That’s it!
  • Just send us an email, and we'll guide you through the quick and simple process of replacing the parts yourself.

 

General T&C

  • Please make sure you keep your proof of purchase safe and sound! You'll need it to avail your warranty.
  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transportation incidents.
  • This warranty is non-transferable and ends if the original purchaser sells or transfers the product.
  • This limited warranty excludes products purchased from third-party sellers or online auction sites.
  • Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty.
  • If the product proves defective during the warranty period and you follow our return instructions, we will either replace the product with a new or refurbished product that is the same or similar to the original, or repair the product using new or refurbished parts.
  • There is no guarantee that any replacement product will be identical or offer the same functionalities as the original. Product comparability is determined by us at our sole discretion.
  • You are responsible for all costs to send the product to the ROMEING Service Centre, including packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes.
  • If your luggage happens to need some fixing beyond its specified warranty period, you would have to bear the cost of the spare parts.

Note:

International warranty is not provided for any ROMEING products. This limited warranty applies only to products purchased in India.
